Step 1:
Cleansing and Measuring
First the lashes are cleansed with an oil-free makeup remover. Once the lashes are clean the lower lashes will be secured down using an eye pad or tape. Next the technician determines what size silicon rod will be used for the lifting. Typically this decision is based on how long the natural lashes are. Once the silicon rod has been selected it is glued down to the upper lash line. After the rod is secure the lash lifting can begin.
Step 2:
Lifting
The technician will use a combination of glue and other tools to comb up the lashes and attach them to the silicon rod. This step can be take the most time, because the lash technician needs to make sure every lash is laying in the correct direction. Once the lashes are in place the lifting solution is applied. Typically the solution is left on between 5-10 minutes depending on the strength and integrity of the lashes. After the time is up the technician will carefully remove all of the lifting solution, and apply the setting solution. The setting solution is left on anywhere between 4-6 minutes. Once done the solution and the rod and pads will be removed.
Step 3:
Tinting
The color tint is decided based on the client natural lash color and what color mascara they like to wear. After the color is picked the technician will again fit the client with an eye pad. Depending on whether the client wants their lower lashes tinted will determine if the eye pad sits on top or underneath the lashes. A protective balm is applied on the eyelid, and under the eye to prevent staining from the tint. Next the tint is applied and left for 5-6 minutes. Once finished the extra tint is removed, the lashes are combed out and the process is finished.

Please Note:
**If you suffer from a history of eye allergies, chronic dry eye, overly sensitive eyes, styes, or eye infections, lash lifting might not be a service you can receive. Consult your doctor, and inform the technician upon making your appointment of your history.**
